1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of butchorpeza.com (the "Website"), which is run by Butch Orpeza ("I", "me", "my"), a freelance web designer, web developer, graphic designer, and SEO specialist based in Davao, Philippines. By visiting or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to my Privacy Policy.

2. About this website

This Website is my professional portfolio. It describes my services, shows examples of my work, and lets you contact me or book a call. The information here is provided for general purposes only.

3. Using the website

You may use the Website for lawful purposes, such as learning about my work and getting in touch with me. You agree not to:

• use the Website in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its hosting, or other people's information;
• send spam, malicious code, or false or misleading information through the contact form or booking calendar;
• use automated tools to copy, scrape, or overload the Website;
• interfere with the way the Website works or with other visitors' use of it.

I may block access to the Website if I reasonably believe these Terms are being broken.

4. Contact form, bookings, and communication

When you use the contact form or book a call, please give accurate details. Bookings are made through Cal.com, which has its own terms and privacy policy. I try to reply to messages promptly, but I cannot promise a response time or that I will be available to take on every project.

5. Services and agreements

Nothing on this Website is an offer to provide services on set terms, and sending an enquiry, booking a call, or discussing a project with me does not create a contract. If we decide to work together, the scope of work, price, timeline, payment terms, and ownership of the finished work will be set out in a separate written proposal or agreement. If anything in that agreement differs from these Terms, the agreement applies to our work together.

Examples of past work and descriptions of my services show what I do. They are not a promise of any particular result, such as search rankings, traffic, or sales.

6. Intellectual property

My content

Unless stated otherwise, the design, layout, text, graphics, logo, animations, and code of this Website belong to me and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the Website and download my resume for your own personal use, for example to consider me for work. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or build on my content without my written permission.

Client work and other people's marks

The portfolio shows websites and brands I have worked on for clients and employers. Their names, logos, designs, text, and images belong to those owners. They appear here only to show what I have done, and their appearance does not mean they endorse me or this Website. Screenshots and previews of live websites are shown for the same reason. If you own something shown here and want it changed or removed, please email me and I will act on it promptly.

Feedback

If you send me ideas, comments, or suggestions about the Website, I may use them without owing you anything. This does not apply to your own project materials, which remain yours.

7. Links to other websites

The Website links to other websites, including my social media profiles and client websites, and may show content from other services. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.

I may change the Website, or update these Terms, at any time, for example when I add a feature or change how something works. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when these Terms were last changed. Using the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking it through, it will be brought in the proper courts of Davao City, Philippines, unless the law requires otherwise.
