This website, butchorpeza.com, is run by Butch Orpeza, a freelance web designer, web developer, graphic designer, and SEO specialist based in Davao, Philippines. In this policy, "I", "me", and "my" mean Butch Orpeza. I am responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

2. Information I collect

Information you give me

• Contact form: your name, email address, business or brand name, the service you need, details about your project, and your budget range. You choose what to write; only name, email, and project details are required.
• Booking a call: when you book through the calendar pop-up, the booking service collects your name, email address, the time you choose, and any notes you add.
• Emails, calls, and messages: anything you send me directly, including files or links you share about your project.

Information collected automatically

• Technical information: like most websites, the web server records basic details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is used to keep the site working, secure, and fast.
• Cookies: this site may use cookies or similar technology that are needed for it to work properly (for example, by WordPress and Elementor). I do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

At the time of writing, I do not run website analytics or advertising tools on this site. If I add them, I will update this policy first.

3. How I use your information

• To reply to your message and discuss your project.
• To schedule and hold calls or meetings with you.
• To prepare quotes, plan, and deliver design, development, and SEO work you ask for.
• To keep records of enquiries and work for my business, accounting, and legal needs.

I use your information for these reasons because you asked me to (you contacted me or booked a call), because I need it to carry out an agreement with you, or because I have a genuine interest in running my business and keeping this site safe. I will not use your information for anything unrelated without asking you first.

I use the following third-party services. They may receive some of your information, only as needed to provide their service.

Google Fonts	Supplies the fonts used on the site.	Your IP address and browser details are sent to Google when fonts load.
WordPress.com screenshots	Creates the preview images of some projects in my portfolio.	Your IP address and browser details when those images load.
Trustindex	Shows Google reviews, where a reviews section is displayed.	Technical information when the reviews widget loads.
WordPress and Elementor	The software the website is built with.	Basic technical and cookie data needed for the site to function.

Some pages in my portfolio can show a preview of a client's live website inside a pop-up. That website is run by its owner and has its own privacy practices.

5. Who I share information with

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I only share it with:

• the service providers listed above, to run the website, receive your messages, and schedule calls;
• professional advisers, such as an accountant or lawyer, if I genuinely need their help;
• authorities, if I am required to by law or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

6. How long I keep your information

I keep your messages and booking details for as long as I need them to talk with you, deliver your project, and keep sensible business and tax records. If we do not end up working together, I will delete your enquiry after a reasonable period. You can ask me to delete it sooner (see section 8).

7. Keeping your information safe

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using HTTPS on this website and choosing established service providers. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask what personal information I hold about you and get a copy;
• ask me to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• ask me to delete your information, or to stop using it;
• object to how I use your information, or withdraw consent you gave earlier;
• ask for your information in a portable format;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

I am based in the Philippines, so I handle personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, and I will respect them. To use any of these rights, email hello@butchorpeza.com. I may need to confirm who you are first, and I will reply as soon as I reasonably can.

9. Transfers to other countries

The services I use may store or process information on servers in countries other than yours or mine. By sending me information, you understand that it may be handled in other countries, with the protections described in this policy.

10. Children

This website is for businesses and adults. It is not meant for children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me information, please contact me and I will delete it.

This site links to other websites, including my social media profiles and the websites of clients I have worked with. I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies when you visit them.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time, for example if I add a new tool to this website. When I do, I will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
